Chinese Lanterns - is it time they were banned?


We see loads from where we live and i can't see anything wrong with them unless they set fire to my house.

sometimes feel they are a bit dangerous especially if not done by an adult

I love to watch them New Years Eve, I was feeling a bit down. I looked out of my window to see the sky lit up with hundreds of Chinese lanterns, and it made me smile Ive never tried to light one myself, but I bet its tricky. Like you, as long as they dont egnight homes, theyre great
